After almost every single wedding, I tell myself that one day I will write a book. An amazing, hilarious book about weddings. I love the stories I have prepared in my head, but what I love more are the actual events that these stories come from. All weddings are awesome. I mean that. All weddings are awesome! And almost all weddings have some moment in the day that is entirely unique, out of the ordinary, and oftentimes, straight-up epic.
Nicole and Hayden’s wedding was beautiful. It was a traditional church wedding and I always have a special spot for church weddings in my heart. I just love them. The day was beautifully organized and orchestrated. It was fun, exciting, and gorgeous. The round-up of wedding professionals was top-notch, and the wedding party and guests were outstanding.
Moment to moment, it was perfect. But friends, what sets this day apart is the epic — and I mean epic — garter toss. This crew could dance and they loved the party. And, well… the images tell the story.
I loved this day so much, and I’m grateful for the moments shared.
