About me!?
I am wrapping up my 20th year as a branding specialist, photographer and business coach.

A Texas native, I moved a lot as a young person: Texas, Utah, Minnesota, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, and now Virginia.

After graduating from the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!) I moved from the Tennessee mountains and settled on the beaches of North Carolina. I moved to Virginia in 2022 and have created my home and studio in the Chesapeake area of Virginia serving the entire Tidewater area and greater Williamsburg.

I am currently situated in beautiful Virginia and get to wake-up to sunshine and wildlife in my backyard most mornings. I have amazing kiddos, the most incredible man that I get to also call my best friend, a German Shepard and two Great Pyrenees that count as children, two hamsters, one mouse, a boa constrictor, a turtle, a grand-kitten, indoor and outdoor gardens, and 3 fish tanks.

We have a few sayings in our home that guide our everyday: 
1. “Messes and All, ” meaning- regardless of all of our humanity, life is a great gift.  You’ve got this, we’ve got this, God’s got You- “Messes and All.”
2.“You Did Not Wake-up Today to Be Mediocre” meaning- God gave us all a unique and beautiful light to gift the world.  Everyday is a new opportunity to Be that Light.  We believe in getting up each day and being our very best selves, pushing ourselves to do something difficult each day, and rising up above the hum-drum of mediocrity.
3. “Live Fiercely” meaning- Live fully, even in the moments of quiet.  Living fiercely does not mean live loudly.  It simply means to live to your fullest in the very moment you are experiencing.  Love big, act fearlessly, honor relentlessly, and be present in each and every moment. 

We are constantly practicing this.  I do my best to live with genuine Faith and excitement in what is present at any given moment!  And, I am very lucky to be surrounded by like-minded people and amazing, motivated clients and business partners like you. ❤️

Travel + People are a HUGE part of what inspires me.  It has been the travel and people that have sparked my love for this career path.  Inspiring others to create and embrace a beautiful, fierce life of their own is what drives me.

It is my goal that you enter into our time together confident and relaxed, trusting that your product outcome will be the true representation of you.

When I began my career journey in 2004, I took on just about any project that was thrown at me.  I had the opportunity to photograph everything from families to marketing for menus at high-end restaurants.  But, over the past 20 years I have been able to live and sort through what I love and do best.

As for me personally, well, I cherish moments and I love LOVE.  Yeeesss, I know that sounds incredibly cliche. Go ahead.  Feel free to roll your eyes. LOL

But, I really do!  I am a southern girl with a mighty soul that cries at just about every wedding that I photograph, belts old country love songs while I cook dinner, and would prefer a margarita at a hole in the wall restaurant to any other night out.  I have an affinity to all things happy, wild, and off of the beaten path.  I love black and white, and most shades of blue.  I NEED sunshine and laughter.  I love inspirational quotes, connecting with people, fresh flowers, the outdoors, and reading.  My outlet is dance and running.  Travel is my dig.  And, all of my free time is spent with my crew.

My default is laughter and, man!  Laughter has brought more peace to our crazy world than I ever thought possible.  I am an enneagram 2 wing 3 sx.  I am a hustler, dedicated to my family and clients and couldn’t believe more in the importance of the people in our lives, Grace, and the grit behind a hard working human.

I am grateful for this unpredictable, exciting, emotional career full of people like you.  Connections with others and the creation of awesome outcomes are my number one work priority.  I am so glad that you’ve stopped by and are looking around.  I’m not certain that we’ve even met.  But, I can tell you that I am already entirely excited about working with and serving you.
