Hey there, friend! Thank you for popping in! And, if we aren’t quite acquainted just yet- let fix that! My name is Sarah and I am a fine arts wedding photographer based out of Knoxville, Tennessee. I am so fortunate to have a second home and a couple of photography companies (newly Blue Poppy Weddings and Flip Flop Family Photo…previously all-in-one, Sarah Keenan Creative) in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I’m a mom, animal lover, outdoor enthusiast, and seeker of the real-deal down and dirty details of life. I spend my days telling the stories of people that I get the honor of photographing and being the cheerleader to many small businesses and parents, like myself. (Pretty amazing job.)
Recently new to our Knoxville Photography Studio, I’m super excited to share this adorable country-style, Vineyard wedding straight from the story book of Courtney and Nick. This is one of my published weddings…and, I truly cannot get enough.
I just fell head-over-heals for this awesome couple and their adorable two-year-old daughter. Mixing the bride’s southern-charm and rustic style with the groom’s surfer, let’s have fun way of being, this wedding and the party that followed left nothing to be desired! From the amazing colors and cool cowgirl boots, to the bride’s reception vocal performance…this incredible wedding kept us on our toes and wishing the night would never end!
Hoping for a dreamy yet rustic feel to their wedding day Courtney and Nick selected the gorgeous Sanctuary Vineyards to say their I Do’s and party the night away with their 150+ guests. Wine Barrels, lace, babies breath, and bubbles mixed with a little karaoke and the sweetest little flower girl around…there was not one thing about this day that wasn’t absolutely amazing.
Photographer’s Favorites: The Boots…OMGoodness, the Boots!, the color palate (teals and yellow), the Pie bar that replaced a wedding cake, the rain…yes! It rained, bringing the ceremony indoors…but, providing for some pretty amazing portraits 🙂
