Being a Knoxville wedding photographer has so many wonderful perks- I get the opportunity to live in the same community as so many of our couples, walking the journey from the planning process to the weeks following their wedding with the families. But being a destination wedding photographer has a ton of super cool advantages, too! Like utilizing technology at it finest to plan, meet, and chat with our clients and the opportunity of traveling to amazing places that make everyone happy! Devin and Zach’s destination wedding landed us on the sound of North Carolina. These to Pennsylvania natives grew-up traveling to the beach, love the water, fishing, and the outdoors. While Mexico beaches were in the running, they felt that may be a bit too far and found the cozy and beautiful NC coast as the perfect spot to say their I Dos.
And, it was the perfect choice for this laid-back duo. The ceremony took place on a golf course along side the Currituck Sound and the outdoor reception followed at the Currituck Club Golf Pavilion. Surrounded by family and friends and the gorgeous water off of the water, Devin and Zach promised their lives to one another in what seemed like the most surreal setting. The weather, the flowers, the amazing number of guests that traveled to support these two, and the breeze that kept us all cool created the perfect wedding day for this beautiful couple.
We followed-up the wedding day with a sunrise Trash the Dress session. If you’re on the fence- do it!! Even if you buy a dress other than your wedding gown- Think thrift store… So. Much. Fun!
