I’ve always loved this quote. It inspires motivation beyond other’s beliefs in your potential. I am certainly not a legend. But, I do believe in hard work and hard play and the benefits of pursuing individual gifts and opportunities.
I’ve seen a lot of small businesses and passionate people make the simple decision to take charge of their future. Taking charge means:
👏🏼 Working toward what you have control over- Dedication, Character, Accountability
👏🏼 Creating Clearly Defined Focus, Goals + Expectations of Self and Your Team
👏🏼 Being a Harsh Judge on Your Outcomes but Gentle in your Punishment- Meaning, understand that mistakes and opportunity for improvement are always going to exist- OWN IT! But, do not carry-on with the negative surrounding that. Be willing to pivot. Be willing to learn. Be gentle with yourself and make the necessary adjustments to prevent a repeat.
👏🏼 Working Hard. Working Harder. Then making certain to calendar time to play. Blocking-off time for friends, family, travel, a massage, or even your daily work-out is paramount to overall success. A sick you isn’t helpful. Make time to take care of yourself and your team.
I figure if you’re ready to create your legend, you should just go ahead and do it!
