Yours and hers There’s the wedding gown shopping, of course – Nashville and Knoxville have so many amazing wedding boutiques to make it a fun weekend event! If your mom doesn’t live close enough to do all your shopping with you, consider making a weekend trip to see her and shop for the mother of the bride gown! This way the two of you get quality time together to get excited about the wedding but there’s not quite as much pressure to choose your wedding gown in a weekend.
Wear a Piece of Her Jewelry
Your mother may be more likely to have an heirloom set of pearls or those special earrings your dad gave her for an important anniversary. Incorporate these into your wedding look for a meaningful tribute on your wedding day. Be sure to have ‘help’ you put them on for special wedding photos you will both treasure.
Surprise Her With a Special Song
When your mother is being escorted down the aisle have the DJ or musician play a song thats special between the two of you, like that Beatles song she used to sing you as a lullaby.

Find out the song she and your dad danced to at their wedding and incorporate that into the reception playlist!
Give Her a Photo Album
