It is Wedding Wednesday, folks. Annnnnnd, OH BOY!! I just love this shoot I’m about to share. Part of being a traveling wedding photographer is having the opportunities to stretch my comfort zone way out, try on new ideas, locations, lighting, and client personalities. For those of you that I have had the chance to work with or that have followed my social media feeds for a bit know that I am neither a “light and airy” nor a “dark and moody” photographer. I am not necessarily a traditionalist, because I love ideas that are out of the ordinary. And, while I love “classic” that is not a perfect description either. What I do is Tell Stories.
I like to tell them just the way they are presented. And, that is the coolest part. By telling love stories just as they present, I don’t have to have a certain “type” about me. I get to just soak it in…then retell all of the details. I mean…gahhhhhh…. I feel so lucky.
Some of the love stories I get to tell are full of color, light, and a high vibration of energy. Others are cool, muted, and a vibe that is totally chill. This story today is of two amazing people that live fully, love wholly, and have a way about them that screams wild and free. I hope this shoot provides inspiration for those of you looking for something with a little more edge. Keeping in mind that even though this is styled with wedding pizzaz, the feel of this session could easily theme to engagement portraits. ❤️
