Hey there and welcome to my Portraits Collections!
One unique skillset that I bring to my portraits sessions is my deep experience with locations.  Sound silly?  Maybe.
But, here is the deal.
I started my career when I lived central North Carolina.  Rolling Hills, but mostly flat grassy areas.  But, most of my photography was inside.
I then spent the following 12 years honing my photography skills on the Outer Banks beaches.  Bright sun, quickly changing weather, little contrast between the skies and the water, and wind!  Man, I learned a lot.
I have spent the last 6 years between Downtown Nashville and the East Tennessee and Virginia mountains- Tall Buildings, neon lights and lots of concrete to green, green grass.  blue, blue skies!  And, lots of gorgeous contrast.
I share this because it takes a particular skillset to photograph beautiful images on the beach.  And, a totally different set of tools to photograph mountain or studio based images.
It was a sharp learning curve, but I am so excited to be living in an area where we have the opportunity to CHOOSE between the beach, mountains, cityscape, studio, or flatlands.
